From my Master. Recorded from Row A. Hugh was amazing on "The Thirst." He added a little vocal riff at the end of the song.
Broadway, May 27, 2006, matinee
Drew Sarich, Carolee Carmello, Sean MacLaughlin, Chris Peluso, Allison Fischer
Hugh was out sick for both of Saturday's performances and Jim was out because his wife just had a baby. Drew is awesome as Lestat! He gives a completely different take on the character than Hugh and just nails it. He is very sarcastic and bold. Quite full of himself and snarky. He also flubs many lines and creates several new lyrics. Chris & Sean are good in their roles. Sean in particular forgets and changes many lines.

Drew kicks ass on "The Thirst."
Broadway, May 28, 2006, Closing Performance
Hugh Panaro, Carolee Carmello, Drew Sarich, Jim Stanek, Allison Fischer
Everyone just gives their all, Hugh especially. You can tell he is still sick, plus he is very emotional due to it being the last show. He gets choked up at the end of "Right Before My Eyes" and has to pause to compose himself. Lots of wild audience reactions. Loud cheering for everyone's entrances and for all songs. Hugh is very defiant on the last line. Just a beautiful, wonderful show overall.
